making a difference. | southern west virginia’s drug epidemic.

First let me tell you about Angela. She’s an amazing woman of God. She was saved and delivered from her battle with drugs while she was in prison. Since then she has been spreading the Gospel and helping both women and men fight their battle with addiction through the Word of God. Along with her husband, they are directors at The Redemption House Sober Living Home for women. {Follow the link to donate} They also have a men’s ministry as well.

Southern West Virginia is in the middle of a drug epidemic. Satan thinks he has a stronghold on this area, but I know who is in control. I’m believing in a supernatural, instantaneous, deliverance for those under the oppression of addiction in the WV and KY coalfields. God can do exceedingly above anything we can ask or imagine. I’m looking forward to the day when the only problem we will have in this area is housing, because we won’t have enough room for the people flooding our borders because of what God is doing here. We will be addiction free and prosperous. His Word says to call those things that are not as though they were.

So, on January 31st, Angela along with our Pastor Mitchell Bias, baptized 7 former drug addicts at Regional Church of God. What an amazing thing to witness and document. Knowing that they were laying their old person down and rising up a new creation with a new purpose in the Kingdom.

Here are a few images from their baptism and I hope you will share this post and follow the link to help The Redemption House Sober Living Home. If you are unable to donate, they always welcome your prayers.

-Blessings, LC
