Wow. I haven’t blogged since March! march. It’s been a crazy few month around here for the Copleys and CLP, but that’s for another post.
We are here for Brooke & Gabriel. They are just the sweetest couple. ever. Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement session. I cannot wait for their wedding in September. Their love for each other and Jesus is evident in all they do. I know they will make a huge impact in the world for Christ. As we were walking around my most favorite location, Gabriel said, “My Creator created this.” What powerful words and observation. I am still in awe that God gave me this gift to capture His creation, whether it be people or nature. One of my favorite photographers, Jamie Anderson, who has now went to be with her Creator said, “God creates them, I capture them”. It’s true in any form of photography.
I love engagement photography because it represents your relationship before life really starts. It’s just you two and nothing but love. So if you are getting married, please don’t let engagement photos get lost in all the to-do’s of wedding planning. Make time for it. These are images that you can pass down to your children and grandchildren. Don’t let them stay on your computer. Print them, hang them in your home for years to come.
Then there’s this tree. It’s one of my favorite trees in the whole world. During their session, we decided we would come back and photograph their family as it grows under this tree. What a great way to document your family through the years.
Then on our way back to the ATV(the only way to get to certain locations during the session) the sun decided to put on a show and I made them stop in their tracks to get that golden hour glow. It was the perfect ending to a perfect evening.
